Colybrassus is located about 30 kilometers northeast of Alanya, within the boundaries of Bayırkozağacı Village of Alanya Güzelbağ District. The city center is located in a valley. A. Albek defines the city as a settlement east of Pisidia and west of Cilicia with traces of the Hellenistic period. There are written sources that indicate that life in the city continued until the Middle Ages.
The western of the two temples, which are 70-80 meters apart, is intact almost to the level of the roof. Access to the buildings in the center of the city is provided by stairs carved into the rock. These stairs lead to the entrance gate on the city wall. In the necropolis area in the southwest of the city, there are many sarcophagi and a rock tomb. The facade of the rock tomb is monumental and it is reached by a staircase with 18 steps. The burial chamber consists of a single room and the entrance is carved in the form of a flattened arch decorated with a medusa's head, and the two sides of the arch are decorated with eagle motifs. The residential area east of the city center extends up to Kandilcik Hill. The inscription on the city wall in this area mentions the settlement area of a military unit.
