Description

Suluada is a Mediterranean island of Turkey. The name Suluada is a compound word meaning "watery island", referring to the island's freshwater resources. In ancient times, the name of the island was "Krambusa".The deserted island is located at the westernmost end of Antalya Bay, approximately 7 kilometers from Cape Gelidonya. Administratively, it belongs to the Kumluca district of Antalya province. The island is long and narrow, where its 1,200-metre-long dimension faces the northwest. Daily trips to Suluada from the Antalya coast are organized every day between March and November. The island is also known as the Turkish Maldives
