Description

Lower Duden Waterfall, which is one of the most visited spots in Antalya thanks to its unique view and proximity to the city center, is located in the Düden Park, which has a very spacious atmosphere with its landscaping in Lara Region, 8 km. away from Antalya city center. The waters of Lower Duden, the only waterfall in Turkey that flows into the sea, meet the Mediterranean Sea from the 40-meter cliffs.

Lower Duden Waterfall, also known as Karpuzkaldıran among the people, is one of the natural wonders that have become the symbol of Antalya. The large and lush green area where the waterfall is located, which is one of the favorite resting spots not only for tourists visiting the city but also for the residents of the city, attracts attention with its occupancy rate almost every hour of the day, offering opportunities for activities such as sightseeing, hiking, cycling and yoga.

At the point where the rushing waterfall discharges its waters into the sea, a cloud of fog forms over the sea that erupts with the violence of the water. Due to the refraction of the sun's rays, rainbows can be seen at all hours of the day. From these angles, the waterfall offers its viewers an insatiable beauty and a very different visual experience.

It is possible to watch the waterfall and the cliffs both from above and below. You can join boat tours from Kaleiçi Marina to see it from below. From above, you can witness this unique view from the viewing terraces around the park. If you wish, you can take a walk in the park afterwards, you can have a meal and coffee break in the businesses on the Düden Stream behind the waterfall.
