Antalya's great historical journey from its foundation to the present day comes to life in the Once Upon a Time Antalya Museum opened in Dokuma Park, the heart of Kepez. The city museum, which was opened by the Kepez Municipality in the administration building of the old Dokuma factory, shows the values that are specific to Antalya and Antalians from the past to the present by going beyond the usual museum form.
In the museum, where the milestones of the city's history are told by combining them with human stories, many different topics such as nature, history, archaeology, tourism, celebrities, traditional architecture, traditional cuisine, Yoruk culture, transportation and communication, festivals, celebrities, city dignitaries, education, health, sports, art, trade, industry... are the subject of traditional objects, artworks, ephemera and technology-supported exhibitions.
The museum, which has 25 rooms on two floors, can be visited with live guides on the hour and audio guides in 6 languages.
