The building in Kepez Dokuma Park, which used to be a kindergarten building where the workers of the Dokuma factory entrusted their children, has been turned into a toy museum by the Kepez Municipality. Today, the Anatolian Toy Museum welcomes both children and adults who want to travel back to their childhood years with its rich collection and colorful world.
In 15 halls of Anatolian Toy Museum, 13,800 toys are displayed in 15 different themes; the display and organization of each hall is different from each other. The museum has two floors, and in addition to the exhibition area on the upper floor, there is also a movie theater and a cafeteria. On the lower floor there is a library and a toy and art workshop for visitors of all ages. In the workshop, children are provided with training and workshop services, while parents have the opportunity to spend time in the cafeteria or library. The museum also provides training and certificates for the elderly through mother-child, father-child and family activities.
In the garden of the Anatolian Toy Museum, there are 2 monumental olive trees, one 1000 years old and the other 1100 years old, and an electric double wagon train. The Anatolian Toy Museum Garden, which attracts attention with its different corner designs in an area of 5 decares in terms of total green area, can be seen with the electric nostalgic black train.
